Medernach et Ermsdorf offer various playgrounds

There are also dedicated picnic areas at the "Schmuelewald" in Medernach (from Medernach follow Haller , the area is in the woods on the road towards Savelborn) and on the Belvederealong hiking track E8 starting from Stegen .

Further, both campings own very nice playgrounds, also allowed for non campers. At Camping Neumühle in Ermsdorf there is a nice playgournd and at Camping Kengert you can find an indoor playground as well as a maze of local bushes.
